The last regular IMDA meeting in 2010 was hosted by the BBC in their offices in London. The focus of the meeting was on the further development of IMDA’s Metadata Service Identification for Broadcasters and Aggregators, to incorporate EPG and Live-Text services alongside the general service description.
Also the Profile-2 document was finalized and the Central Discovery Service Working Group decided about the next steps for the implementation of the system.
All meetings were attended by several guests which are interested in joining the organization in 2011. Herewith the IMDA could extend its focus and scope around commercial broadcasters and automotive expertise. Guests were also invited to the first part of the Steering Board meeting on Friday, where the IMDA discussed its strategy and focus for 2011.
